school list help 2015/2016

Hello SDN am currently trying to create a school list. A summary of my self is my 1st MCAT is a 22 my retake is a 28. CGPA 5.56 sGPA 3.69. 100 clinical , 60 shadowing , 50 community service. Worked In a med tech for 2 years URM living in NY. Went to a community college n had to work while attending cc for 2 years. Only premed course not taken at the cc was orgo chem which I got A's for at a 4 yrs school.

Are you down with Loma Linda's expectations?
You might want to add all the NY schools if you are a resident and the other 2 HBCU's.

one of the reason why I picked loma Linda's is due to the fact that I am an Adventist so am familiar with the teachings and expectations. Which schools on my list would you decourage me from applying too. Am trying to eliminate a few. Do you think am being reasonable ?

@gyngyn , why delete drexel, quinnipiac, EVMS, and TCMC? these seem like precisely the sort of schools OP should be targeting

brown, dartmouth, and uconn seem like obvious deletes to me

for starters, i'd add all the SUNYs and the HBCUs

OP is in the top 25% of AA males applying to medical school.
He is a candidate for all his state schools and just about anywhere else if he can interview at all.
I've had candidates like OP poached from us by the finest schools in the country.

It could be either depending on what you actually did.
