Would really love some help on my school list. It's way too top heavy, but I'm not sure what to add/take off.

34 MCAT, 3.9 GPA
Georgia resident
Master of Public Health in Epidemiology

I feel good about my Rec letters and PS

Extracurriculars:
1 year research - no publications
Approximately 400 clinical volunteering hours with low-income populations
Experience in medical settings abroad
Decent but not great leadership
Work at the CDC
Various non-clinical volunteering- probably around 150 hours
a few unique activities
40 hours shadowing

School List:

MCG
Emory
Wake Forest
UVA
Vanderbilt
Hopkins
Brown
Columbia
UCSF
Duke
George Washington
Georgetown
Baylor
UAB
Mt. Sinai
UNC
Cornell
Northwestern

Your list is top heavy, and a 34 MCAT is 2+ points below average for most of these schools. You want more mid-tiers and safeties; by all means keep the top schools, but be realistic as well and add schools with closer MCAT medians.

From what I have read, I would take off GW and Georgetown, because they receive so many applications. Also UNC has a lot of in-state bias, and Brown prefers a lot of their undergrads.

Consider Tufts, Albert Einstein, Rochester, Stony Brook, Jefferson, Temple, SUNY Upstate and Downstate, USC, U Illinois, Dartmouth to name a few. Look at MSAR for more schools.
