Hey all, with interviews and acceptances rolling in, I'm thinking that my decision may come down to tuition and funding. I know some schools offer you the chance to change your residency after the first year of vet school and I was wondering if anyone had experience with doing that. Also, do you guys know which schools allow this?

Holy moly student loans.

Hi! Some schools I know of are:

1. NCSU
2. Ohio State University
3. UC Davis
4. At CSU, as a combined degree student. (Not completely sure, but I think it may be true for all combined programs at this school? Just not true for stand-alone DVM degrees) we apply for residency during our first year of the program (grad school) so we are admitted to vet school our next year as Colorado residents
5. Western University charges the same amount for in-state and out of state.

Some schools that I know don't are University of Florida, and University Penn.

I would check each school's site for more info or call someone from financial services/admissions too! :)

WSU after one year I believe!

I've seen before some say that U of I does, while other lists say it does not.

Anyone have clarification on this?

Illinois? I don't believe so.
