Update 3/21/2017: I ended up matching into general surgery. I didn't decide on what I wanted to do until the end of 3rd year. I actually enjoyed every rotation during 3rd year (except psychiatry), but surgery was the best fit for me. So looks like the results were fairly accurate, at least for me.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, SDN has a pretty interesting quiz that matches certain specialties with your personal characteristics/goals/interests/ambitions/etc:
How to Choose a Medical Specialty
As someone about to start medical school, I'm curious to see how my interests will change over time. The results of the quiz were pretty much as I would have expected (more procedure-based specialties towards the top). I set an alarm in my Google calendar that will send me multiple emails at various stages of medical school, so hopefully I'll be able to return to this thread periodically and comment on if and how my interests have changed.
So, to anyone reading: what specialties do you think you might be interested in? Do your results surprise you in any way?
And to make it clear: I'm well aware that I can't possibly know what I'll eventually specialize in. That's the point of starting this thread. To track my interests from someone essentially naive to all but a couple of specialties to a medical student making an informed decision.
Edit: A thread with a link to this quiz has been posted in the hSDN forum, but I thought it would be interesting to get feedback from others about to start medical school, and to update it over time (i.e. hopefully it's distinct enough to avoid the ).
