Has anyone gone to a SEAK conference or purchased a DVD? The one coming up on being an expert witness for malpractice sounds good as they will talk about things relevant to staying out of trouble and also being hired as a witness. Since I am only 3 years out of fellowship I'm not about to do this, but the other SEAK educational information looks interesting like the expert witness stuff.

Anyone with information

I took all their expert witness courses. It generates a little side income. Why wouldn't you?

I went to the course in Ma. when I was two years out, in 2004. In terms of time and money, I am sure DVD's much more high yield. Mostly telling you how lawyers think and how to answer their questions to end a deposition in a timely fashion.

Best takeaway from it was their recommendation to take ABIME training on impairment ratings. When I had work comp patients that was well worth it. PM me if you want details.
