Hey everyone,

I graduated in 2014 and will be applying for the upcoming cycle. I took the time off mainly because I wasn't sure if I was ready to commit to another 4 years of schooling and take on 300-400k in student loans. Since graduation, I've been working full-time in IT for a pharmaceutical company, part-time as a personal trainer and have shadowed dentists for about 250 hours.

Is there anything I could be doing to improve my chances of getting accepted? How will dental schools perceive the fact that I took 2 gap years? Also, I have two job interviews this week for dental front desk admin/receptionist positions and I'm not sure if i should leave my current job and take them if selected.

Undergrad Stats:

Major: Economics

EC's:
-Clinical Research at UF College of Dentistry
-Volunteer Fitness Coach for children with mental disability

any advice/help would be appreciated.
Technically, you will have only completed one gap yr by the time you apply.

Apply. You will get interviews.
