Sending an update about spring grades

Hi there,

I am considering submitting before my spring grades are out, because our updated transcripts won't be available until very late June (quarter system).

If I do submit before my spring grades come out, do I have to send updated transcripts to all the schools (that could get very expensive), or can I just send them an update letter once the grades are released?

I think you can usually just tell them what your grades are. The school you matriculate with will obviously want to see your final transcript before med school starts, but you shouldn't need to send a full transcript to all schools you're still waiting on.
