Should I even mention this?

Some of my classmates and I have been doing research on health amenities inside a pretty interesting minority community in my state. We are presenting a poster on our research at our school next week.

The leaders of the community approached us and said they would like to include a copy of our poster and a small article about us in their August newsletter....although pretty minor, should I include this as a publication in residency apps? I'm a little skeptical but my classmates are all for it. I'm definitely going to include the poster we present but shoot.....its not like we are doing NEJM type stuff lol. What do you guys think?

I dont know if it falls under the category of publications but I would certainly put it in my app somewhere.
