Hi, I am an undergraduate student at UCSD. I am currently a second year with a GPA of 3.5 with one W. I am taking 3 psychology and 1 cogsci course this quarter because I was originally going for occupational therapy. However, I recently developed an interest in pre-med and I've switched over to Biology major.
My question is this:
From what I know, medical school only requires 1 psychology class as a pre-req, which I already took in freshman year. I currently have C's in 3 of my psychology classes this quarter. If I drop one of the classes and receive another W, I have confidence that I can focus on the other 2 classes and bring them up to a B or maybe even an A. Is it better to receive the W and make my grades better? or is it better to just stick with my classes and risk getting a couple C's and lowering my GPA?
Thanks in advance!
