Should PRP be procured from a blood bank? See attached...

"Given the lack of QC, process control, and compe-tency assessments surrounding autologous PRP injections, patient safety and high value patient care are, arguably, not at the forefront of this movement to provide pain relief to ailing joints and cosmetic improvement to aging faces. If and when the FDA decides more regulation is needed for autologous PRP injections, the end users will need guidance and assistance from the TM community to establish a process that delivers quality, consistency, and safety along with all that is promised with PRP injections. We also hope that advocates of PRP will perform the careful clinical trials required to demonstrate that the product has its anticipated efficacy."

Article by Fung n Harm. Not a typo.
Regulating will reduce efficacy and more importantly profits. I don't charge for PRP, but when I do, its not covered. (Most intersting man MEME)

It's essentially a power/money grab. Attempting to stake out their role in PRP medicine in the future as the gatekeeper...

$$ dictates payment, $$ dictates policy...

If you're going to quote the "Lobel Doctrine," get it right. :)

Payment drives research, payment changes policy. Research changes nothing.
