I'm planning to head over to Ireland for medical school this fall and I am currently planning my years to fit everything into the right place. Although this is an exciting time for me I understand that I will need to work extra hard especially on the boards for a good chance at matching (IM or FM) and have a diverse clinical elective resume in third/fourth years.
Here's what my schedule looks like so far:
End of second year: Do USMLE Step 1
Nov or Jan. of third year: Do the MCCEE
Spring of third year: Do Step 2 CS and CK
September of fourth year: Do NAC OSCE and apply for residency
Does this schedule sound right/ideal?
