Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a situation where I don't have much clinical experience because I chose to focus on research and employment to pay for undergrad. I have a ton of leadership (residential life and community outreach) and research in 3 labs, so I'm pretty much good on those categories.

So I'll be starting ER scribing and ER volunteering in May and I was wondering how I'm supposed to add that to my application. I don't think I will have accrued many hours by the time I submit my app. Should I include them and mention the start date on the description and how I am expecting to continue them for a year? Will there be secondaries that ask "What have you been up to since your app submit?" so that I can talk about my clinical experience in the future?

You can certainly gain clinical experience during the application period. Yes, make sure to mention the start date on the application.
