Stay or withdraw?

It's too late to drop classes now w/o looking as W and I'm stuck with a class I didn't really intend to take. It's a communications class which involves decent writing work.

Should I stay in the class (and get a B) or withdraw and get the W on my transcript?

A B would drop your GPA, so therefore a B would be worse.

A W or a few W's or just a semester of W's due to extenuating circumstances are things that are not a concern or can be easily explained. It's if you're dropping classes left and right throughout undergrad that it becomes a concern. You're fine dropping the course.

...I already said that a single W, especially in a non-science class, doesn't matter. A B+ would still drop your GPA. What I said above still applies.

Or you could try really hard and get an A.
