Looking for some advice from people with families and/or children that have been through or are preparing to go through lvl 2 fieldwork. My first placement is still a year away but my wife and I are struggling to figure out how we're going to make it work financially. We're already stretched pretty thin and really would prefer not to go deeper into debt paying for childcare with student loan money.
Has anyone taken advantage of government assistance programs during fieldwork placements? Are there grants available somewhere that I may not have checked yet that might help during that time? Thanks in advance...
