Some students I spoke to stated that during the patient encounters, the patients may hand you an index card with what you are supposed to have found on physical examination; ie. after you have examined them. For those who have taken this test, is this true?
Also a question about hand shaking. The Kaplan book states that we should not offer to shake hands after we walk into the room due to cultural differences. If the patient extends to shake hands, then we should shake their hand in that case. For those who took the test, what did you find that most examinees would do?
Washing hands question. If you wash your hands before the P/E, are you supposed to wash your hands also after the P/E?
Thanks for any input.
