Step 2 CS test dates - do they free up? Weekends?

Hi!

I just signed up for Step 2 CS and there weren't any dates that were particularly convienent. Have any of you had experience with rescheduling? Do dates free up? I had heard that there are sometimes weekend dates. Does anyone know if that is true?

Dates do free up. You can sign up for the service that lets you know when dates open. I never used it but I checked periodically and got a date that I was happy with.
