Step 2 for programs requiring it: CK only, or CK and PE?

Was wondering if this requirement includes just CK or both CK and PE when considering an application for residency?

Again, I would check with each individual program's requirements.

Google:

University of X, Y residency program.

Usually under "applicants," they give what they want. If you do not find, e-mail the program coordinator and ask:

"I'm a DO student with a Step 2CK score. I was wondering if a Step 1 score is needed for your program?"

From what I've seen, the programs that explicitly state that they require that you pass Step 2 before ranking include both CS and CK in that. Most programs don't have this requirement, though. For programs that don't have this specific requirement, they might be more interested in your CK score than CS.
