Strong neurosurgery programs in europe

Hello everyone,

I am a medical student from austria with the intentions to do neurosurgery or psychiatry (Quite different fields, i know ;-) ) after medical school. I am very interested especially in programs / universities with a very strong focus on research.

There is plenty of information here about top US neurosurgery programs, but what are some institutions here in europe with an excellent reputation?

I am glad for any kind of input.

Come on, I would appreciate every hint. There must be a few reputable neurosurgery departments in Europe...

Of course there are, it's just not something most people in the US are overly aware of.
