Student Loans and Getting Married?

Hi guys,

I do know that way back during my undergraduate years, some of my classmates were denied student loans because their parents made $100k+.

I'm just curious, say if I get married and my wife makes $80k a year; will they say I have enough income and thus reduce the amount of loans I am eligible for?

While in d-school, my wife's and my combined incomes were in excess of $200k. I still qualified for student loans. Even though I was in the Navy's HSCP program, I still applied for financial aid just in case some unplanned event came up in which the Navy dropped me from the proram and I needed the extra fundss. If I qualified, you shouldn't have a problem.
