Studying abroad. Should I take biochem?

So i was just wondering what you all thought of taking biochem abroad. Since it is not officially a requirement of the AAMC does that mean Medical Schools will still accept it as a class even if its taken in another country. Also, would it be more difficult in the U.K vs U.S.A, I am taking the MCAT before I study in England so I will have already learned a lot of Biochemistry. I am planning on applying to med school while I am abroad and the summer I get back (before my senior year).
