Hi all,
I am planning on taking the MCAT in April (2017), while also taking classes in the spring. As of now I am thinking of taking upper division microbiology, and cell bio. Do you guys think I should add another class , like sociology or statistics ??
* I will be taking a Kaplan prep course as well

Biology major
Overall GPA: 3.60
Science/math GPA:3.44
URM

With your GPA being borderline, I'd say tread carefully. It's doable as long as you only have these two classes to worry about (rest being BS classes). You'll need to work hard though.
