I'm on the 4 year 1 coop program at my school, which is on the quarter system. My coop will be taken place this fall and winter of 14-15 school year thus it is required for me to attend the summer term. I signed up for the MCAT on September 18th and basically I have 2 options:
1) Stick with the coop plan, study for the MCAT while being in school taking around 13 credits. The risk of this is that I'm afraid that I won't have enough time to study for the MCAT thus ending up performing not as well as I could. The pros are that I will have the coop experience on my resume, interview skill from the application process and an extra LOR from the employer.
2) Change to the 4 yr no coop plan. With this plan, I will be able to dedicate the entire summer to study for the MCAT. The cons are that I won't have any coop experience/interview skill as well as the LOR.
Any advice?
