studying strategies during residency

Hi, I'm a second year pediatric resident. I didn't read much during my first year, I mean I read about the cases but didn't follow a curriculum. The hospital I'm in offers a wide range of cases but the teaching is really minimal. Any advice about studying strategies during residency?
