Hi all,
I recently submitted my AMCAS (late July). I understand that this is peak of the season, and my app probably won't get verified until late August or Sept. I am wondering if any of you have any tips/advice/suggestions as to minimize the disadvantage of long verification gap. I already have been pre-writing secondaries, but wondering if there's anything else I can do.
Also, my transcripts arrived back in early May. Wondering if that fact would put me in a more forward position in the verification queue.
Thanks guys. For those who are still working on their AMCAS, good luck to you!

Other than having secondaries ready to immediately return, all you can do is make sure your letters are in by the time you are verified. I think being complete late August / early Sept is closer to normal than disadvantaged, since the rule of thumb I've heard is to aim for letters arriving by Labor Day.
