summer program in UK or Ireland

I'm looking for summer program for medical students in ophthalmology field, no matter if research or clinic.I study medicine in Italy and I'd like to do a summer experience in UK or Ireland next year (2009), when I'll be finishing the 5th (out of 6) year.
Please tell me if you know something about that.

At University College Cork electives are approved through the medical school but usually the student approaches a consultant first and then fills out the elective form. Contact
