So I am a junior, and I am going to be taking a gap year before applying to medical school (no MD-PhD). I wanted to do another summer program this summer. In the past, I've done a research summer program and a premed enrichment program where I had the opportunity of shadowing different doctors, doing an mcat prep class, and research. Fast forwarding to the present, I recently got accepted into a research program; however, I applied to another premed summer program like the one I did in the past; however, there is a gross anatomy lab to add on on to the other components of the programs. I wanted some advice on which program would be more beneficial to me considering my past summer programs and whether I should accept the first program and then if I get accepted into the other summer program, get out of going to the research program and go to the premed research summer program.
