Hello all.

I'm a sleep medicine fellow finishing up in June who is boning up on some journal reading. I'm interested in surgical slants on sleep disorders and what potential literature is out there (it doesn't have to be dealing with bariatrics). I'm fairly comfortable with the sleep journals, and was a bit hesitant to start combing through surgery literature without guidance on which journals were more worthy than others.

Are any of you familiar with recent or landmark surgical studies (I mean from surgical journals) of any stripe that deal with extant or post-operatively diagnosed sleep disorders (particularly obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, or obesity hypoventilation syndrome)? Also, which journals in this subsection of medicine are considered the "stronger" ones that would be worth hunting through?

Thanks in advance.
