this is my only concern about becoming a PA. Once i am a establish PA could i take orders from a young resident fresh out of medical school? That my only issue as a PA. You have young snot-nose doctors, some from what i heard have a huge ego. I mean when im 45 or older how would i feel about taking orders from a 27 yo kid. I hope someone can clafiry this for me.

Did you mean to post this in the psychiatry forum? I didn't even know that there were any PA's in psychiatry. Anyways, even doctors have to take orders from younger doctors and younger administrators who are higher up in the totem pole then them. It's all relative, not everyone can be a leader, there always have to be more followers.
