pg 157 of TBR BIO II book

So this passages takes about glycerols and FA and esterification.

So we eat Triacylglycerides, then they are broken into glycerols and FAs and both are stored into the adipose tissue and assembled as esters (glycerol + FA) triacylglycerides. Then FA make their way into adipose tissue, from which they are released into the blood (carried on albumin) and then to the liver , where they are oxidized and energy is released.

The hypothesis in the passage on pg 157 says that niacin drug inhibits resterification - meaning that it prevents FAs that are released from being esters again and taken back up by adipose tissue?

And the data doesn't proof the hypothesis at all, so its' a bit of be-careful b.c I tend to assume in studiest that the hypothesis is also right/proven?
