Is anyone attending dental school in Texas using the Hazelwood Act? If so, how does it work and how much assistance is there?

Ha, I thought this was going to be about veterinary dentists...

I'm not a dental student, but I used the Hazelwood exemption for undergraduate tuition. I'm almost certain it can be used for graduate and professional tuition also. You will work with the individual school's financial aid department, fill out some paperwork, including a copy of your dd214, and that's pretty much it. The school will verify your eligibility and then exempt you from paying tuition. You will still be responsible for any fees or payments that fall outside "tuition". It's only a tuition exemption.
