bio major, after this semester GPA should be ~3.92c, 3.88sci, 3.98nsci
honors humanities curriculum

work experience - 1+ years as a medical scribe, as well as some babysitting/nannying type work
some volunteer experience

no research (not necessarily interested in academic meds, but i know it'd be a plus...)

my top choices are southwestern and dell. probably followed by BCM, a&m, galveston/UTHSC SA, houston, tech/E.P./RGV (solely bc of location..)

is it worth it for me to apply out of state anywhere?

your stats are fine, there are other variables that could weigh more into your app than research. Research is just icing on the cake, unless you're interested in research later once you get in. More information about your clinical/nonclinical could help some readers to give you more advice.
