Hey everyone,
Okay, so I was born and raised in East Texas, but have been living in New Mexico since high school and throughout college (7 years). My parents live in New Mexico as well, but my father has a job opportunity in Texas. I was wondering: if he and my mom move to Texas, would I be considered a Texas resident, because I'm a dependent of theirs? I understand that the Texas schools mainly accept in-state applicants, and I think I'd have a much better chance at getting in if I applied as a resident.
What do y'all think?
