Try rewatching the movie as a story about sexual frustration.... I'm sure it would be very entertaining.

I actually took a class in England that kind of did that. It was called Fairy Tales (sooo original) and the book that looked at all the latent sexual side of the tales was called The Bloody Chamber, which sounds wayyy too graphic, but it was kind of interesting...and weird.
