Congratulations to the fellow M4s who matched!!

So I think many know that changes will be made to Step 3. If not, well now you do. Registration for the "old" step 3 ends in July. Registration for the "new" one starts in August, with November being the earliest you can take the restructured version. One major change is that you can take both parts on non-consecutive days. Seems to be nice to have that option, or just schedule them on consecutive days to get it over with if one wishes.

1) I wonder if it is recommended to try to take the old version of Step 3, or if the changes outlined below are insignificant and it's okay to essentially be a guinea pig in this case.

2) I wonder if the current resources available for step 3 studying will be applicable for the restructured exam, and/or if I have to dig up my First Aid and Step Up from the dungeons I abandoned them in. I don't anticipate anyone having a definitive answer, but thought I would throw it out there.

3) Anyone have any word on step 3 prep resources coming out with a new version/edition? Like UWorld? (Nothing on UWorld website when I checked)

More info from USMLE about the changes:

I realize this may not be the best forum for these questions. But thought I'd probe, and inform other future interns who follow this forum as well.
