I checked AADSAS and it says application denied. i dont know how?!!! i have a 3.82 and 21 DAT, what more could they possibly want !!!!!!1

no not yet just the aadsas update. im truly frustrated i dont know what else i could do
 
Last year, by the second day everyone got wait list emails. Whats going on this year:(
This wait is killing me, so hard to focus on finals...

Last year Ireceived my rejection email the first day of Dr.Jeffers calling. If it's the same as last year we should all have some hope for waitlist at this point :s

Were you rejected after an interview?

My portal says "invited for interview" still and in the comment section it says "Please call the admissions office at (313) 494-6651 to schedule your interview"

Don't worry, with your stats I'm sure you'll get in somewhere...stay positive!
 
are there any hotels that detroit mercy offers a discount rate? or any hotels that have shuttle service from airport to hotel and hotel to school?
all i see is the motor city casino hotel discount.

would it be more cost efficient to just rent a car for a day?
 
screw it no shuttles! im just going to rent a car for the day, if anyone is interviewing on dec 13th and would like to share a rental let me know!
im thinking about staying maybe in dearborn area?

How many courses you need to take?

I just called them and she said that they will up date our AADSAS by the end of this week or next week. She said she has sent out some rejections but they are not done yet and still there is a chance for being rejected.
I HATE MY LIFE
 
I wonder if those who interviewed during the week as opposed to the weekend caused a slight alteration in the process for this year..

Yea, I don't know...I interviewed on a Friday, I highly doubt it because didn't they always interview on weekdays?

I interviewed on a Weekday and got accepted, so don't lose hope.

Like some of you, I waited all monday to get a call...nothing. then tuesday morning....nothing. I didnt get a call or email and I didn't know what to think.
BUT
I just got an email to call Dr Jeffers, and he offered me a spot. I don't know why/the circumstances, but i you haven't heard anything just keep positive. I guess they are still going through some stuff and making decisions. Don't doubt yourself like I was, we have all worked so hard to get to this point, lets keep it up.

I can confirm first round acceptance offers are done! Round 2 in January!

it's because the people invited in the 1st round have to send in their deposits by January 1st.
so then I assume the 2nd round would start shortly after they sort everything out.

I think all of the letters will say this because there will be people finishing up their degrees but there will also be people who are already done school (to which the provisional acceptance won't apply i think). But I did call in and he wants all of you to have hope because come January there will be more acceptances. Finish strong and update your status on ADEA! Good luck!!!

Waitlist? Or alternate list? Or are they the same?

I just got an email asking me whether i want to stay on alternate list or not.

Better than a rejection.
 
Waitlisted...at least there's still hope...email says theis no ranking

Yea, they said alternate list on the email, I think there the same thing...

I hope it's true that they accept most if not all off that list...trying to stay positive, sucks that news like this comes right on finals weeks haha

No, don't be like that, keep a positive mind set...trust me things will work out. Rejection is not a rejection if you don't get an official document stating so, keep the hope alive lol
