I'm not going into detail about the questions they asked, but the experience wasn't bad. I was put under a lot of pressure during the interview and was placed in several different scenarios to see how I would react and respond. Overall, I wish it could've went better but we'll just have to see what the final decision is by the school. I really loved the faculty and cleanliness of the school.

How long was the personal interview?

Was SDN school interview thread helpful for UDM?
 
The interview is very simple. The questions aren't tough, but every interviewer will ask a variety of questions and they don't all ask the same questions. For instance if a friend cheated, tell me about yourself, last thing you read. It's all literally the same things as any other school

How long was your interview and was it just a one on one convo? I heard some people got to interview while shadowing the interviewer.

Mine was with two faculty members. I actually found this interview to be pretty intense. Just my experience though...
 
Mine was one on one and very laid back. Idk why the interview styles differ between people

About 30 min one on one, he was very interested in the basic questions as you can see. We were in a room alone
 
Hi guys, for those who had interviews (or were invited), when you were invited for interview, did your status on the AADSAS-school-decision category change to something else from "additional info/material needed"? The staff from their admission told me before that seeing "additional info needed" doesn't mean i missed any material (they just hadn't processed it yet, and she specifially told me she had everything from me, check, photo etc.). and She said the status won't change on aadsas until somethings going on and committee made some decisions about my application. Thanks in advance !

Hi msl831, thanks for the info! really appreciated! was there ever the status of yours says "complete/under review"? Carol (admission office lady) told me they wouldnt use "complete/under review" on aadsas, only "interview", "accepted" "rejected". i'm wondering if they are considering giving me an interview now (hopefully), since the status changed to something elase. Thanks!

I think it said "Received/Application Complete" but I'm not positive.

UDM just showed up on my AADSAS for the first time and my app was complete almost two months ago....my status on it is received/under review

It showed up on my AADSAS about 1week after my app was mailed out to all schools, and it said "additional info awaiting", while they have actually had received everything. And it just changed to "under review" yesterday. They said they only hanged status when some decision is being made; so hopefully that means something.
 
yup just changed to under review yesterday, hope this means something good :xf:

Hey, mine changed to "invited for interview" the same day I got my interview invite.

For me, it went from additional items->invited to interview on the day I got mine. I never had the complete/under review status. I think at the time, I mailed out my secondary fee 3 days before the invite (so they couldn't have received it).
 
It was weird for me too. I'm pretty sure they haven't gotten my secondary app fee when I received the interview invitation. I was assuming they would start reviewing my app after they get the fee
 
Alright I just booked my trip. If anyone wants the details, I booked through expedia and did some calculations and I think the cheapest would be to stay at the Red Lion Inn, take the airport shuttle, and then uber in the morning to the school. Should come out to be about $380. I'm flying from 1000 miles away.

So is there only one interview that is one on one (or I guess two on one for some people)? I'm just wondering how many interviews there are in the day total.

yeah you're only going to be interviewed once, but whether its one or two people interviewing you is going to depend on the availability of the professors or day I believe (weekends = 2 people).
 
Is the whole day spent by yourself? That's the way it seems in the email.

I was a weekend interview and only had one faculty member interview me....hopefully there's nothing there to read into...:(

I had a weekday interview, and the whole day (2 Hours) I was by myself tour and interview!

It did feel really personal and they try to make you as comfortable as possible BEFORE the interview! During the interview however, you will be asked some questions that put you on the spot and things of that nature. It was really cool how they let you try on a white coat for sizing purposes, great touch to the interview! You guys will be fine!

I have mine on 11/14 too, haven't booked a place yet, but would be totally willing to get some food and review some materials the night before though!
 
interview date 11/21. Time to go do some research and talk to the mirror. I hope the 1 on 1 or 2 interview is not too stressful. Anyone know how many people the school interviews on interview day? I went to Roseman's interview last cycle, and they had like 40 people in the morning and 40 people in the afternoon.

On weekdays it's usually a lot less.. I interviewed with ONE other person at that specific time. On weekends, however, it's usually like 50-75 people.
