I know all schools charge more for OOS, but Minnesota seems to be extraordinarily high compared to others I've looked at. This was more of a rhetorical question/complaint with resentment that I'm not from Minnesota.
It does appear a little above average, but not quite 90k/year, from their 2018 projected expenses off their website:
Non-Resident (Fall/Spring)
58,887.98 D1
61,243.50 D2
63,693.24 D3
66,240.97 D4
Summer
16,096.60 D2
16,740.46 D3
17,410.08 D4
OOS tuition at south carolina is 100, 80, 100, and 100 for D1-2-3-4 years FWIW. See, MN is a bargain!
