Thinking about being a military doc but the HSPS isn't worth it.

As the title says the HSPS isn't worth it for me as I will only be around 100k in debt after graduation. I have 2 years left so I was wondering what my options would be for joining after graduation. What kind of offers are their for doctors who want to join the military?

Look up "FAP" on this subforum. Provides loan forgiveness and extra pay during residency (don't quote me on this). I think there is also a hefty sign on bonus as well. Not too sure because I will never do this haha

Look at the Accession Bonus. It can be better than FAP. I think it was north of $200k-350k depending on specialty.

Anyone happen to know if you qualify for any sort of bonus if you're entering AD to do a fellowship followed by a utilization tour?
