To those taking pre-reqs at UC schools in California, why is stats a 5 unit-hour course?

Specifically this one: "STATS 10 Introduction to Statistical Reasoning"

It's 5 units, which is more than your typical Chem or Physics course. Does it have a heavier workload than your typical Chem/Bio/Physics course?

Well that sounds like a UCLA class cuz well I took it. It's honestly not that bad. It's the lab portion that bumps it to the 5 unit mark. You'll be fine fellow Bruin!!! Try the Class of 20xx Facebook pages for UCLA as SDN is prob not the best place to ask class specific questions.
