Too early to look for pain job?

I start fellowship this summer 2016, finish summer 2017. I am interested in practicing in a specific geographic location/state. I see some jobs on websites posting jobs that are available now. Is it too early or even worth contacting these practices since I won't be available to start for more than a year?

Are there other good ways to find job postings besides gasworks?

it is never too early to reach out to a practice - especially if you take into account the time it can take to set-up credentialing/privileging etc....

it also gives you a sense of the market in the areas you are interested in...
