Does anyone have a scale that they used for scoring the TPRH verbal workbook practice tests? like how many right/wrong equals 15, 14, 13, etc?
If you can't find it, you could use the AAMC CBT #10 scale. It's not perfect, but it should give you an idea.
-----PS ----VR ---BS
15 52-52 40-40 51-52
14 50-51 39-39 50-50

Hi SN2ed, would you still use the same score conversion for the TBR verbal workbook diagnostic exams? If you can't find it, you could use the AAMC CBT #10 scale. It's not perfect, but it should give you an idea.

I know it's frustrating me too. But I already finished tprh and ek101.. still wanna get more practice.misseskwee
**ck TBR and their verbal man.. ditch that book and find something else .. Their answers don't make sense at all..
The MCAT verbal doesn't look anything like this verbal ..
TPR and EK are more recommended..
Lsat material are easier.. they don't try to make you feel like **it when you are doing their verbal..I read somewhere recently that LSAT materials can be a great source of VR practice as well. Apparently they have something very similar and the same people who make AAMC tests make that stuff.
Yeah 'cause it's the easiest section with less questions lolDidn't realize it was that harsh... Jeez: (
anyone who did the TPRH verbal workbook exams as tests, did you feel TEST 3 and TEST 4 were more difficult than the previous passages? My scores significantly dipped on these...not sure why.
I did and yes it did. It was the closest to the real thing for me. YMMVI might be wrong but did you already take the MCAT? If so did you feel like TPRH helped your verbal.. I am studying from that book as well! Thanks
I had EK 1001 as hand-me-downs but did not use them because they were for beating in the basics that I knew very well (e.g., I basically had gen chem taught 3 times already before college...)one more question.. did you study from EK101 at all? I am getting so demoralized by some of the passages but not so much from TPRH
