Im a US IM PGY2, if I do CC fellowship in Canada does it count in the US? Can I Take the boards and work?

I was looking at PICUs and asking the same thing. Check out the web sites at various programs. Specifically I looked at Toronto and Montreal (McGill) and both stated that you would be eligible for both the U.S. and Royal Boards (enabling you to be boarded in Canada, U.K, Australia and New Zealand I believe). They had different research requirements however, so look closely at the sites and call the program with questions. I realize peds and adults are different ballgames, but wanted to add what I had found on my side.
