Hi everyone,
Was wondering what types of private practice jobs people have encountered for gen cards- in terms of responsibilities (inpt, outpt, echos), hours, call schedule, etc? I am wondering what type of diversity exists in positions that people have come across. As an aside am wondering is there an equivalent to a cardiologist hospitalist where you just go inpatient shifts? Also how about part time vs full time work? Lastly, for a general cardiologist how many people recommend or think that being echo boarded or level 3 in echo would be a big advantage in private practice?
