Yes, it's because the professor who ran the minor, Dr. Bette Bottoms, is less involved with the psychology department now that she is Dean of the Honors College. The basic Psychology and Law class will likely still be taught (last year it was, but by a visiting professor) but it's unclear if she'll have the interest/time to offer the Psych & Law Brown Bag or another specialty course, like Children, Psychology & Law, which was last taught in 2007 or 2008. My guess is the program would probably let you design a psych & law minor if you really wanted to do one, but finding the requisite courses would be more difficult than it has been in the past.
