Hi everyone! What is the best advice you have for entering freshman wanting to do pre-med? If I know what I want to do specifically (cardiologist), should I shadow or do things related to it? Also, what pre-reqs are usually taken what year and when? I'm totally confused on how many pre-req credits (on average) people take per year. Thanks in advance!

your school's premed advisor or upperclassmen who are premed probably can answer those questions easily regarding what classes to take when... you can really take them anytime

shadow anyone you can, not just 1 doctor

best advice: do well in school (3.8+ gpa, do well on the MCAT, volunteer and get a lot of clinical experience)
