University of Iowa Application Question

For the University of Iowa application, under required coursework, there is a drop down menu asking you to list hours for each course. I was wondering if this was the hours on AMCAS or the number of semesters of each class type.

these are semester credits, if your intro bio class was 3 credits for 2 semesters put 3 credits for 1st semester bio and then 3 for second semester
