Hey all, I've also applied to USF COP for regular decision this year and am quite hyped to meet you all! What I've heard from the admission officers is basically the people who review the applications all come together on a certain day, review files and then send out invitations. I called in prior to the holidays starting and was told that they would meet up once again around January 19th-20th and then hand out interviews for Jan. 29th as jlnguyen mentioned; I was also told they hand out interviews in batches throughout the year.
I myself have not received an interview yet, and while as nerve-racking as it is the best thing to do is to NOT check your email account every 5 minutes (lets face it, we're all doing that lol) and just focus on enjoying today. As far as the PCAT goes Ms. Ashley, I took it in November for the first time and it wasn't the worse test in the world. I did somewhat poorly in the math and reading sections due to time constraints but quite splendid in the bio/chem sections. Bio and Chem should be rather easy if you remember a lot from those classes. As far as math goes, my advice is skip around. If you don't think you can solve a problem within a minute skip it and come back to it. I noticed the last 15 questions on the math section were easy F of G questions, bar graphs, stem-leaf charts and easy proportions/arithmetic while the earlier questions had a lot of calc, difficult log questions and some basic trig. Reading is also tricky because of the time; look at the questions first then read the passages so you have an idea what you're reading for.
I hope this helped and I wish you guys the best of luck! Look forward to meeting you all and don't get too stressed out: [Lo] Que, Sera, Sera.
