UQ Ochsner calendar conflict with residency?

Hi there,

Didn't find the answer to this question in any of my searches, but if there is another thread out there, my apologies for repeating!

I was wondering whether any students currently in the UQ Ochsner-Queensland program found any difficulties going into residency given that their academic calendar doesn't officially end until November. Since most US schools end in May/June and residency begins shortly after, does that mean UQ Ochsner graduates must postpone residency acceptances for the beginning of January? Is that allowed? Or are they delayed a full year?

Nevermind, I found an answer - for anyone who is curious:

Students in the UQ Ochsner program graduate December and then begin residency July of the following year.
