I am a US medical grad and am interested in moving to the UK since my fiance is wanting to move back to be closer to her family. I am not a british citizen, but am interested in doing my residency there to ultimately practice there. Would I even be considered for training since it is funded by the government? We wanted to hold off on getting married but may have to do it sooner in order to be considered for residency there.
