Using a secondary from last cycle as my PS from this upcoming cycle

Hi all, I just had a question that I was hoping I could get feedback on.

During the last cycle, I wrote a secondary essay that I think would be a great basis for my re-app PS. The story was a big part of why I chose medicine in the first place, and the lessons from it have been really helpful for all of my new experiences over the past year.

My question is: Do you think it would be frowned upon if I were to use the story/theme from and sample a few parts of that essay for my new PS?

If you are reapplying to schools you sent the essay to, they may frown on reusing it. If you heavily edit it or just use themes from it and rewrite it you'll probably be ok.

I was thinking about the latter,
I just really like the main story that i based it on
